Monday Night Raw kicked off with a bang this week as Becky Lynch announced that she was pregnant, and Asuka was crowned the new Raw Women’s Champion when Lynch relinquished the belt.
PWInsider reports that Asuka didn’t know she was winning the Raw Women’s Championship when the Money in the Bank ladder match was taped on 4/15. It’s being said that all discussion about the Raw Women’s Title was kept private.
It’s also being reported that there were a number of people at the Raw taping on Monday that legitimately had no idea Becky Lynch was pregnant.
There is currently no timetable for Becky Lynch’s return as motherhood is her priority right now.
It’s also worth noting that there’s been a lot of talk about Becky getting involved in more acting projects over the last few months.
Becky Lynch confirmed in a recent interview that she found out she was pregnant in April, and the baby is due in December.
