Asuka Reacts To Fan Criticizing Her WrestleMania Losing Streak

When it comes to her WWE career it seems that Asuka has accomplished just about everything at this point. She’s a former WWE Women’s Champion, former NXT Women’s Champion, former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, former Money in the Bank winner and a former Royal Rumble winner. Asuka has also competed at WrestleMania, but she has yet to win a match at the Show of Shows.

One fan on X pointed out how Asuka has never won a match at WrestleMania, and The Empress of Tomorrow made it clear that she’s sick of people focusing on the things she hasn’t achieved yet.

“Every time I achieve a victory or set a record, people desperately search for what I haven’t obtained yet and say, “You still don’t have this.” That system is endless, and I’m sick of it. I want them to stop obsessively looking for what I haven’t achieved. Their way of thinking is just too negative.

Was a WrestleMania win or loss ever considered a title like winning the Royal Rumble? This is just an issue that someone forcefully brought up against me. It’s absolutely ridiculous.”

Asuka last competed at the WWE Backlash premium live event in May of 2023 when she teamed up with Kairi Sane to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill. After Asuka & Sane dropped the titles to Belair & Cargill it was revealed that Asuka had been dealing with a knee injury and she’s been out of action ever since.

It was recently reported that WWE creative has been discussing potential plans for Asuka’s return, but it’s still not clear when she could be making her return to TV.
