Alberto El Patron, formerly known as Alberto Del Rio, is most well known as a wrestler but he has a history with MMA. His last fight took place in 2010 and he currently was 9 – 5 record. Alberto recently signed up to do commentary for MMA promotion Combate Americas and many people are wondering if he will start fighting again.
Alberto spoke to The Roman Show and had the following to say about possibly getting back into MMA.
“Since I left WWE everyone has been trying to get me in their organization to fight again,” Del Rio said. “But the money is just not there. Luckily I do pretty well in wrestling. I am one of the most paid pro wrestlers out there. If the money is not there then there’s no reason for me to go back in there, fight, and hurt my body.”
