Bron Breakker has been one of the stars to watch over the last few years and he’s been trying to work his way up the ladder in WWE. Earlier this year Bron Breakker found himself in the title picture when he challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, but Punk ultimately retained the title.
Recently it was revealed on WWE Unreal season 3 that WWE considered letting Breakker win the Royal Rumble this year before going with Roman Reigns as the winner instead. While Breakker has been close to the main event scene he’s seemingly fallen down the card as he’s currently one half of the World Tag Team Champions alongside Austin Theory.
While talking about Bron Breakker’s status on The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, AJ Styles questioned why it’s taking so long for WWE to solidify Breakker by letting him win the World Heavyweight Championship.
“How long are we going to wait for Bron Breakker to be heavyweight champion? He should be next. I think that he’s definitely a star right now. Why haven’t we put it on him to put the rocket up his butt and send him to the freaking moon? I don’t know why we haven’t done that because he is the destroyer. Yeah, well, he had to get a surgery done or he had a hernia or something, but the fact he was out, and now he’s back, and he’s even scarier than before. Like let’s go. Let’s freaking do this because we know that it’s all about the chase. The babyface chasing the heel. Bron Breakker is the heel.
The Vision’s actually coming back together. They’re healing up and they’re coming back together. So, let’s see what we can do with those guys next. I’m not saying you got to split them up. That’s not what I’m saying. I’m just saying, I’d like to see Bron as a Heavyweight Champion, but he’s not in a Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam.”
