On Thursday night AJ Styles competed at the WWE live event in Hershey, PA when he teamed up with Karl Anderson & Mia Yim to face the team of Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley. AJ Styles appeared to have injured his ankle during an over the top rope spot to the outside, and the match wrapped up early. Styles was then helped to the backstage area.
The Phenomenal One has confirmed that he is dealing with a broken ankle and he noted that this will be the longest he’s ever been out of the ring when he posted the following:
“Just want you guys to know that I’m ok. Broken ankle is what I’m dealing with. No surgery, this just takes some time to recover. This will be the longest I’ve ever been out of the ring. Thanks for the prayers and get well wishes.”
