The last few weeks have been eventful for the AEW tag team division as FTR put their career on the line to get a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles. Ultimately FTR defeated The Gunns to win the AEW World Tag Team Titles and it was later revealed that FTR signed new contracts with AEW that will keep them with the company for another four years.
One fan recently commented on FTR’s status and posted a tweet which said they think AEW should release Dax Harwood and keep Cash Wheeler. Dax responded to the tweet when he posted the following:
“Woke up this morning reading a lot of bad stuff about me. I’m not sure why. Either way, hoping I lose my job, and my means of providing for my family ain’t it, though. It’s sad that everyday i have to remind myself social media isn’t real life.”

It seems that the original tweet didn’t go over too well on social media as the fan has since deleted their account. One way or another it seems that the future is bright for FTR in AEW as they’re currently on top of the tag team division. The duo has declared that they plan to retire when their four year deal with AEW expires. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
