Brock Lesnar made his surprise return to WWE on Sunday night at Money In The Bank, and he gave fans plenty to talk about when he climbed the ladder won the Money In The Bank briefcase at the end of the pay-per-view.
Prior to Money In The Bank, The Beast hadn’t appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35, but now he has a guaranteed title opportunity.
According to Wrestle Votes, WWE made the decision to have Brock Lesnar win the Money In The Bank briefcase.
Prior to Brock Lesnar being involved, McIntyre and Ali were reportedly the frontrunners to win the match.
Lol you investigative maniacs are killing me from my tweet on 4/22. Nearly a month ago! Plans change. It’s freakin’ pro wrestling.
The Brock decision was made last weekend. Up until that point it was nearly a 50/50 tossup between McIntyre & Ali to take the briefcase.
