The stars of NXT headed overseas this weekend to perform at Download Festival, but it looks like one talent suffered an unfortunate injury during the event. Tegan Nox (formerly Nixon Newell) teamed up with Candice LeRae and Dakota Kai to defeat Lacey Evans, Bianca Belair and Nina Samuels at the event, and fans in attendance noted that Tegan appeared to have suffered an injury during the match.

Tegan Nox was originally set to face PROGRESS Women’s Champion Jinny at PROGRESS 71 this weekend, but she was pulled from the match and later confirmed that she was unable to compete.

In the end it was Dakota Kai who showed up to the event in Nox’s absence.

It appears that Tegan Nox suffered some sort of leg injury, but according to Jim Smallman of PROGRESS the injury is minor.
