Over the past few weeks, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have been seen in some of the creepiest vignettes as they prepare to debut on SmackDown Live as The Bludgeon Brothers.
The duo made their official debut as their new character on the European Tour last week, coming out in new attire and a new theme. Last night at the WWE live event in Leeds, England, Harper and Rowan came out in their old Wyatt Family attire to Luke Harper’s original theme song, and seem to have defaulted back to their original characters from earlier this year.

It is unknown as to why WWE wouldn’t allow The Bludgeon Brothers to continue to perform at house shows under their new characters before they are given a TV debut, unless their new characters have already been scrapped.
At the same time, this could just be a one-off for Wyatt and Harper just so they could have a final outing in their old characters, WWE can get away with doing a lot of strange things at house shows because there are no TV cameras.
The Bludgeon Brothers haven’t been given an official debut date on SmackDown Live yet, but seem to be heading into a feud with The Fashion Police, so it will be interesting to see if the build ahead of their debut continues, or if this really is the first hint that the company have already decided to drop the gimmick.
