Asuka has had an incredible run with the NXT brand, but soon she will be saying goodbye to NXT. Fans have been waiting a long time to see her get called up to the main roster, but her call up is bittersweet, because The Empress of Tomorrow was recently injured, and she won’t be getting called up right away.

Asuka defended the NXT Women’s Championship last Saturday night against Ember Moon at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III, and even though she managed to walk out with the gold, she injured herself while defending it. WWE later confirmed that Asuka broke her collarbone, and she’ll be sitting on the sidelines while she heals.
Asuka has been the undefeated NXT Women’s Champion for over 500 days, and she will leave NXT undefeated after she vacated the title at this week’s NXT tapings.
WWE has yet to announce which brand The Empress of Tomorrow will be joining, as it was merely noted that she’s being scouted by both Kurt Angle and William Regal, but it appears that she could be joining Monday Night Raw.
James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that if all goes well we could be seeing Asuka make her debut at the TLC pay-per-view on October 17, which is a Raw exclusive event.
