John Cena has been a part of some pretty big moments in WWE history. He’s been a part of upsets, sure things, and plenty of surprises. But one of the crowning achievements in Big Match John’s career has to be the fact that he’s been part of three unsuccessful Money in the Bank contract cash-ins.
He cashed in Money in the Bank himself on CM Punk during Raw 1000 and failed to win the title, he was able to squash Damien Sandow once upon a time, and on the go-home SmackDown Live headed to SummerSlam he was also able to crush Baron Corbin’s dreams of cashing in his MITB contract on Jinder Mahal.
Needless to say, the crowd in Providence was pretty upset at the result of the MITB cash-in. Even if they wouldn’t normally cheer for Baron Corbin, the fact they were getting to see a Money in the Bank cash-in was enough reason to get the crowd to cheer.
But John Cena acted in the place of the Singh Brothers and disrupted The Lone Wolf’s attempt in pulling off the surprise victory. Now Baron Corbin’s contract was wasted and John Cena is to blame.
After the match loads of people were unhappy by how it turned out. One fan was especially displeased as she stuck a middle finger right in Big Match John’s face and held it there with the best grin on her face she could muster. This is what we call a super fan and she is awesome for pulling off this moment which will forever live on in gif form.
Cena commented on the female fan’s displeasure to his disruption with a classic “John Cenaism” when he tweeted: “No matter what you do, there will always be hate. You have 2 choices, Hate back, or Smile and #RiseAboveHate prefer option 2”

So there you go, the next time someone has a middle finger in your face just rise above it. That’s what John Cena does and it appears to be working out well for him.
