It’s been a rough year for Finn Balor. In 2016 he battled Seth Rollins in the first ever WWE Universal Title match at SummerSlam. Balor unleashed the Demon, and he managed to defeat Rollins to win the title belt and become the first ever Universal Champion. However, Finn suffered an injury during the match, and he was forced to vacate the title the next night on Raw.
After sitting on the sidelines for months Finn Balor finally returned to the ring earlier this year, but the Demon has yet to resurface. It’s been a while since fans have seen the Demon wrestle inside a WWE ring, but it looks like fans will be seeing the Demon’s return very soon.
Sportskeeda is reporting that current plans call for Balor to bring the Demon back at SummerSlam in just a few weeks.
Finn Balor’s feud with Bray Wyatt is set to culminate with a match at WWE SummerSlam and he’ll be introducing the Eater of Worlds to the Demon.
Originally plans called for the Balor vs. Wyatt feud to kick off in June, but those plans were put on hold after both men were needed for the Fatal 5-Way match at Extreme Rules.
