The dream match of Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe is finally happening. Unfortunately fans might only be getting one match with The Beast Incarnate vs The Samoan Submission Specialist. But these two are planning to make it a good one nonetheless.
If you weren’t excited about Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe then that had to have changed after last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Samoa Joe choked out Paul Heyman in a segment with more intensity than a Martin Scorsese film.
Joe calmly explained how he was going to wrap his arm around Heyman’s neck and squeeze. Paul’s vision will become fuzzy, and he will go to sleep. Then Samoa Joe followed through with his promise and choked out The Advocate. It really was one of the greatest segments ever.
What added to the suspense is the fact that the live crowd couldn’t hear what Joe was telling Paul because he tossed his microphone to the side to have a heart-to-heart. While Samoa Joe pushed Heyman against the turnbuckle he whispered calm words promising a painful future for Paul. Thankfully the microphone on the camera picked up every word Joe said to Heyman. It was chill inducing to say the least.
The segment was beautifully booked and if you’re not excited for the main event of Great Balls Of Fire now, then we don’t know what you’re looking for and probably can’t help you achieve happiness.
Brock Lesnar promises to be in the building tonight and business is about to pick up in a big way. The Beast Incarnate probably has more than a few things he’d like to do or say to Samoa Joe before Great Balls Of Fire. But we’ll have to tune in to see what he’s able to accomplish.
Samoa Joe still doesn’t seem to be scared of Brock Lesnar. He sent out a tweet saying his message last week was sent, received, and misunderstood completely. Joe promises to stand face-to-face with Brock Lesnar tonight on Raw to settle their misunderstanding. Oh what a tangled web we weave with the Coquina Clutch.
Last week my message was sent, received, & understood completely. Tonight we have ourselves a proper face to face "misunderstanding". #RAW
