Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion. But he’s not been seen in WWE for quite some time. There are plans for him to work a few PPV events this year, but he’s still being kept off almost every house show. At this point, the only real ways to make sure you see the Universal Title on a regular basis are if buy one from WWE of you got the last WWE Slam Crate with that sick Universal Title pin.

The plan for WrestleMania 34 is to headline the show with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. The Big Dog is supposed to topple the Beast Incarnate and become to new top face of WWE. Dave Meltzer said on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that those plans are very much intact.

Of course, the question remains on whether Brock Lesnar is going to keep the Universal Title until WrestleMania. He is set to face Reigns in the main event in New Orleans, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be walking in as the champion.

Now those questions have been answered as Meltzer said the current plan is for Brock Lesnar to indeed, walk in a champion. He probably won’t leave as champion though, because Reigns is scheduled to go over in the match to solidify himself as the new “John Cena level” face of WWE.

But let’s face it, there will never be another John Cena because John Cena will always be John Cena. Wow, that last sentence had so many John Cena’s in it I could barely see it.

Brock could always lose the championship along the way, but regain it at a later point. So, that’s always a possibility and totally in the cards. But the current plan is for Brock Lesnar to stroll into the Silverdome (according to Hulk Hogan) and defend his Universal Championship.
