According to PWInsider, Vince McMahon was in charge off all the creative decisions for Saturday’s Madison Square Garden special. Their report goes on to mention that Vince is still very much the one in control of WWE’s creative direction despite the fact that Triple H has gained more power.
New creative ideas a reportedly met with responses like “we’ll have to check with Vince” or, “see if Vince likes it”. McMahon is also reportedly micro-managing the company more than usual due to the low ratings as of late.
