Major Update On Stephanie Vaquer’s Injury Status

0

Stephanie Vaquer has established herself as one of the top stars in the WWE women’s division, but unfortunately La Primera has spent a great deal of time sitting on the sidelines throughout 2026.

Back in April, Vaquer dropped the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania, and shortly after she was written off TV when she was attacked by The Judgment Day during a backstage segment on Raw.

Stephanie Vaquer went on to make her WWE return on the August 3rd episode of Raw. She then went on to defeat Liv Morgan to become a two time Women’s World Champion when she pinned the champion at a WWE live event in Chile on September 12th.

Unfortunately for Vaquer her title reign was a short one as she dropped the belt to Liv Morgan in a triple threat match at Money in the Bank last weekend. On the following episode of Raw it was revealed that Vaquer has been sidelined once again due to an ankle injury.

It was noted in the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Stephanie Vaquer’s injury is not a storyline, it is indeed legitimate, and she suffered the injury at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. The expectation is that Stephanie Vaquer will not be out of action for long.

Judging from how things played out on Raw it seems that Stephanie Vaquer’s feud with Becky Lynch is far from over as the commentary teamed that we could be seeing a Stephanie Vaquer vs. Becky Lynch match in the near future.
