For years now Drew McIntyre has been a mainstay on WWE programming, but it’s been some time since fans have seen The Scottish Warrior on TV. The former WWE Champion last stepped into the ring back in April when he faced off against Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania, and WWE hasn’t given fans any hints regarding when McIntyre could be returning.
During a recent interview with Outkick, Drew McIntyre commented on a potential WWE return, and he made it clear that he’s in the best shape of his life while indicating that he’s currently focused on acting.
“We’ll see. You know, I’m as big as I’ve ever been. I’m 285 right now. I’m 10 pounds bigger than I was for Agent of Shadows. I’m in the best shape of my life.”
“I posted myself running the ropes the other day, you know, keeping myself in ring shape. I’m always ready to go. But right now, I’m focused on ‘Hollywood Drew.’ So, we’ll see. We will see. I’m not giving anything away.”
Drew’s acting career seems to be going well at the moment as he filmed Highlander earlier this year alongside Henry Cavill, and he also filmed a movie called The Last Druid starring Russell Crowe. It was also confirmed earlier this week that Drew McIntyre voices a character in the upcoming Disney animated movie Hexed which is set to release in November.
