It seems that one former WWE star is currently in trouble with the law as PWInsider is reporting that Charles Scaggs, better known to wrestling fans as 2 Cold Scorpio, was taken into custody and put in jail on September 17th following an afternoon court appearance in Kansas City.
According to the report, prosecutors filed a motion last week seeking to revoke his bond and have him put in jail. Scaggs violated his bond by brandishing a firearm, which he acknowledged during his hearing. The court records for the hearing noted that the court found and believes Scaggs to be, “clearly in violation of his bond conditions, and that said violation is a danger to public safety.”
Scaggs previously agreed to plead guilty on charges of assault – second degree, and an armed criminal action. He is currently set to be sentenced on October 9th.
Back in June of 2024, Charles Scaggs was arrested after getting into a fight with a man at Love’s Travel Stop where he was working as a security guard. It was reported at the time that the incident occurred around 3:40 AM when Scaggs asked the man to put out a lit cigarette. The man claimed that he thought his cigarette was out before he entered the building, but noted that it may not have been fully extinguished. An altercation broke out after Scaggs told the man he couldn’t smoke inside, and the man responded with, “F*** you the f*** you gonna do?”
TMZ reported at the time that Scaggs had said the man threatened him, and the man tried to grapple with him when they made their way outside the store. Scaggs told authorities that he pulled a knife out of his pocket and stabbed the man in self defense during the altercation. He also said that he got a few more stabs in as the altercation went on for a few more minutes.
When the police arrived they found the man who had been stabbed bleeding on the ground and he was transported to a hospital. He later claimed that Charles Scaggs was the aggressor in the situation. Scaggs was arrested and put behind bars as he was hit with two felony charges – one count of first-degree assault along with one count of armed criminal action. He later bonded out, and the two sides then agreed to a plea deal ahead of the trial.
