You never know when you’re going to see a big return in the world of professional wrestling, and earlier this week Bayley made her return on Monday Night Raw.
Lyra Valkyria, Maxxine Dupri and Sol Ruca competed in a triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match, and it looked like Lyra had it won at one point. However, Bayley made her surprise return and she pulled the referee out of the ring which prevented the ref from counting the pin. Sol Ruca then went on to hit the Sol Snatcher on Lyra to win the match, and Bayley attacked Lyra after it was all said and done
Prior to her return on Monday Night Raw, Bayley had been off TV since the July 18th episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event when she was defeated by Lyra Valkyria.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Bayley had pretty much agreed to terms a few weeks ago when they started mentioning her name on television again.
As of this writing Bayley has not signed a new deal with WWE, but the expectation is that it will be happening. It’s being said that the company obviously believes strongly enough that she will be signing a new deal, which is why she was brought back to TV.
Bayley’s contract status has been a hot topic over the last few months as Mercedes Mone has been teasing a possible jump to AEW for Bayley, but it seems that WWE believes she will be staying with the company.
