The fun thing about being a wrestling fan is you never know when you might see a big return, and it looks like a former champion is set to make a comeback sooner than later.
PWInsider is reporting that there have been creative pitches for Bayley on the Monday Night Raw brand. The expectation is that Bayley will be returning at some point in the next few weeks.
Bayley has not appeared on WWE programming since she was defeated by Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18th as she was seemingly written off after the match. There’s been a lot of speculation regarding Bayley’s status with WWE as her contract is set to expire this year, but the company has been mentioning her on television, which led to speculation that she would be returning.
At this point in time it’s not clear what WWE has planned for Bayley once she’s back on TV, but one would think that her feud with Lyra Valkyria is far from over judging from how things played out last time they crossed paths.
Following her disappearance from TV, Bayley did compete in two matches at WWE live events on 7/25 and 7/26, but she has not wrestled a match for the company in over a month.
