A number of wrestlers have parted ways with All Elite Wrestling throughout the year, and it looks like another former champion could potentially be on their way out.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that Anthony Bowens’ contract with All Elite Wrestling is currently set to expire on October 1st. As of this writing the deal has not been extended, and there’s no word on whether or not those talks between the two sides have started.

It’s also being reported that Anthony Bowens’ tag team partner Max Caster has a contract with AEW that is also set to expire on October 1st. Together as The Acclaimed, Bowens and Caster won the AEW Tag Team Titles, and they also won the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Billy Gunn.

Anthony Bowens has been working as a member of The Opps in 2026, and he last stepped into the ring when he teamed with Action Andretti, Hook & Katsuyori Shibata to face the team of Lio Rush Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed & Zachary Wentz during the AEW All In Buy In pre-show at Wembley Stadium on August 30th.

At this point it’s not clear what could be next for Anthony Bowens if a new deal is not signed. WWE originally had interest in Bowens before he signed with AEW, but there’s currently no word on if WWE would consider bringing him in.

Stay tuned for updates.
