Britt Baker Returns To AEW And Interferes In Big Title Match

For some time now fans have been asking about Britt Baker’s status with All Elite Wrestling as the former AEW Women’s World Champion has been absent from AEW since November of 2024.

On Sunday the AEW All In pay-per-view aired live from Wembley Stadium, and Maya World defended the TBS Championship against Persephone on the Buy In pre-show.

Near the end of the match a hooded figured appeared wearing a luchadore mask and pushed Maya World off the top rope. Persephone then followed up and hit Maya World with the Razor’s Edge and pinned her to become the new TBS Champion.

After the match the hooded figure got in the ring and applied the Lockjaw to Maya World. The mysterious person then removed their mask and it was revealed to be Britt Baker. The fans cheered and chanted “DMD” as they made it clear they were happy to see Britt.

Later in the show Persephone was interviewed backstage and said a wise doctor told her to work smarter, not harder. Britt Baker appeared and said that just because she hasn’t been in AEW, doesn’t mean she hasn’t been watching, and she’s gotten perspective on who’s worth her time. She called Persephone, smart and ambitious, then pointed out that they have mutual enemies. Persephone addressed Thunder Rosa and said she now has someone new in her corner as Britt Baker stood behind her.
