WWE SummerSlam is quickly approaching and there’s a lot of anticipation heading into the two night event. The card is stacked with several title matches and everyone is waiting to see who will walk out with the gold.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that a source familiar with WWE creative has said that CM Punk is the favorite to leave SummerSlam with the Undisputed WWE Championship, and Roman Reigns is the favorite to leave with the World Heavyweight Championship.
It’s also being reported that Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Gunther and Chad Gable are all considered to be the favorites when it comes to picking up the victory in their respective matches at SummerSlam. However, plans could always change.
One source noted that Sami Zayn vs. Finn Balor and the ladder match for the interim WWE Women’s Championship are too close to call at this point, and could go either way.
WWE SummerSlam will air live from US Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2. The current card for the show can be seen below.
