Some big moves have been made over the last few years and a number of wrestlers have parted ways with WWE. They say that anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling, and it seems that a former United States Champion is set to make his return to the company.
Fightful Select is reporting that current plans call for Baron Corbin to return to WWE. It was noted that Corbin finished up with Major League Wrestling in Chattanooga.
Baron Corbin originally signed with WWE back in 2012 and he went on to become one of the top stars in NXT. He remained with NXT until 2016 when he was called up to the WWE main roster. Corbin made his main roster debut at WrestleMania 32 when he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Throughout his run with WWE, Baron Corbin feuded with some of the top names in the company and he also managed to win the United States Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship, Money in the Bank and King of the Ring.
Corbin officially parted ways with WWE in 2024 when the company decided not to renew his contract. Since then he’s been competing on the independent scene as Bishop Dyer.
