Sol Ruca Wins WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship At Clash In Italy

Sol Ruca officially signed with the Monday Night Raw brand a few weeks ago and she immediately kicked off a feud with Becky Lynch. Ruca faced off against Lynch at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but the match ended in a disqualification when Sol Ruca went for the Sol Snatcher, and she ended up kicking the referee after Becky pulled the referee toward Sol.

After the controversial finish at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Nick Aldis announced that Becky Lynch would be defending the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy.

Early on in the match Sol Ruca went to the top rope and hit on a moonsault on Becky Lynch on the outside then threw Lynch back in the ring. After a few minutes Sol went for the Sol Snatcher, but Becky reversed it into an armbar. Sol gout out of it and applied the STF. Becky tried to reverse it into an armbar, but Sol reversed it into a pin for a two count.

Becky argued with the referee then tried for a Manhandle Slam, which Sol countered with a dropkick. They ended up on the middle rope and Sol went to the top then hit Becky with the X-Factor for a two count.

Sol went to the top, so Becky tried to pull the referee toward her, but the ref pulled away and hit the rope which caused Sol to fall down to the turnbuckle. Becky went for a DDT and Sol did a kip up to get out of it then countered with a superkick.

Becky connected with the Manhandle Slam for a two count. Lynch tried for a Sol Snatcher, but Sol caught her and hit Becky with the Manhandle Slam. Lynch kicked out.

Lynch attempted to hit the Manhandle Slam on Sol, but Sol got out of it and hit the Sol Snatcher then pinned Becky to become the new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
