There have been a number of shocking WWE departures recently, but it’s also true that you never know who might return to the company, and it seems that an interesting name has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center.

False Finish is reporting that Enzo Amore has been at the WWE Performance Center recently, and that he was there ahead of this week’s episode of NXT.

While there’s currently no word on whether or not WWE has plans to bring Enzo back, it’s also being reported that WWE is in the process of rebuilding the tag team division, while looking at the possibility of signing tag teams from other promotions in the future. It’s also worth noting that Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that Big Bill’s (formerly known as Big Cass in WWE) contract with AEW is up soon.

Enzo Amore originally signed with WWE back in 2012 and he went on to form a tag team with Big Cass in 2013. They quickly became one of the most popular acts in NXT and they were called up to the WWE main roster in 2015.

The tag team disbanded in 2017 when Big Cass turned on Enzo and Enzo went on to become a two time Cruiserweight Champion and a top star in WWE’s cruiserweight division. However, the title was vacated in January of 2018 when Amore was released from WWE. In recent years Enzo has remained active on the independent scene working for a variety of different companies.
