WrestleMania 42 has come and gone, but the show featured some big moments. Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi kicked off night 2, and The Ruler managed to pick up a huge win over The Beast Incarnate in the opening match.
After Lesnar was defeated by Oba Femi he shocked everyone when he seemingly retired as he took his boots and gloves off then left them in the ring. Paul Heyman looked just as shocked as the fans and he recently claimed that he didn’t know Brock was going to retire while speaking with TMZ.
“No. If I knew he was going to retire, would I have gone on record saying he’s going to dominate for the next 15 years? I was crying. Am I that good of an actor that I can cry on cue? Not I.”
Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman shared an emotional moment inside the ring after Brock took off his boots, but Heyman declined to reveal what they said to another as he told TMZ, “None of your business. Why would you ask such a question?”
While there’s been a lot of speculation recently regarding whether or not Lesnar will return for one more match, WWE recently indicated that he is officially done when they moved his profile to the alumni section on their official website.
