The last few years have been eventful for WWE fans as a number of interesting names have returned to the company. Last year AJ Lee returned ahead of the WrestlePalooza premium live event and she kicked off a feud with Becky Lynch that carried on for months.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that AJ Lee’s work with WWE has wrapped up for now. WWE sources have said AJ Lee’s creative is effectively done at this time.
There is hope that AJ Lee will do more programs and matches with WWE in the future, and there is said to be hope internally that she could do big events such as SummerSlam.
AJ Lee picked up a big win back in February when she defeated Becky Lynch to become the new Women’s Intercontinental Champion at Elimination Chamber. She went on to drop the belt to Becky at WrestleMania in what appears to be her last match with the company for now.
