All week rumors of potential releases had been making the rounds following WrestleMania 42, and WWE released a number of names from the main roster and NXT on Friday.
Kairi Sane was one of the more shocking releases as she had been regularly appearing on WWE programming, and had been involved in a long running storyline on Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately that storyline will not be concluded as she’s now done with the company.
Sane made her first comments following her WWE release when she posted the following:

Asuka also showed support for Kairi when she posted, “No matter what, I’ll always be in your corner, Kairi. I’ll never leave you feeling alone. 🤡”
