John Cena has accomplished a lot throughout his career and back in 2005 he released his rap album “You Can’t See Me” which went on to achieve platinum status.
While talking about the album on What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes, The American Nightmare revealed that Vince McMahon used to play the album at maximum volume while flying on WWE’s corporate jet.
“This is a story that my dad told me, and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. When the album first came out, when John did that album, and most people know he self-financed it, he did everything himself. But when that album first came out, Vince was such a fan of it that he played it on the corporate jet at max volume.
And my dad had just come back to work there, and he couldn’t tell if it was a rib or if it was like, ‘Oh, this is what these jet rides are like. It was just so loud, the whole flight… just John, nonstop. And John was on the flight too.”
While John Cena’s rap album is beloved by fans it seems unlikely that he will ever release a follow up as the 17 time world champion has indicated that his rap days are behind him.
