Randy Orton has been in the professional wrestling business for a long time and he’s worked through several different eras of WWE. For many years Vince McMahon was in charge of the company, but Randy is currently working under an incarnation of WWE where Triple H is in charge of creative.

During a recent conversation with The Schmo, Randy Orton talked about Vince McMahon giving him multiple chances and he also explained that Vince McMahon was very protective when it came to the RKO.

“Listen, I can’t say anything bad about either one of those guys, man. I would not be here today if Vince didn’t give me a second, third, fourth, fifth chance. There were times, like with the RKO, right? When I first met Logan Paul, he was like, ‘Oh, you’re Randy Orton. I was doing the RKO in my vines 15 years ago.’ I had no idea who you were, but I knew what the RKO was. And I was like, ‘Oh, f*** you.’

No, seriously, it’s funny because that RKO is everything, and Vince had a huge hand to play. When I’d be wrestling somebody, and I was younger, and they wanted to kick out of my finish, Vince would pull me aside and say, ‘We’re not gonna do that. We’re not gonna let that happen.’ I’ll never hit a guy with three RKOs to cover him and pin him. I’m not gonna dilute my finish. That is always gonna be a kill shot, and I can hit it out of nowhere. Vince has a huge part to play when it comes to my finish, and that’s a huge part of being a WWE Superstar, you know? What’s your finishing move?

And Shane McMahon, too, like, big b***s. He’s done a lot. I don’t know if y’all would have done some of the stuff he’s done. I know I wouldn’t have. Coast to coast, yeah, that’s one of them. From like 75 feet. Oh my God.”
