CM Punk dropped the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in night 2 main event of WrestleMania 42, and early Monday morning The Second City Saint was involved in an altercation with a fan at the MGM Grand.
As Bayley was trying to share a moment with AJ Lee, the fan approached then and started to record the two WWE stars before CM Punk stepped in and smacked the phone out of the fan’s hand. The fan, who wants to remain anonymous, has now released new video footage via TMZ which shows the altercation from his perspective.
The new angle shows the fan approaching Bayley as she backs away with AJ. The fan then says, “We love you, Bayley,” and Bayley responds with, “Go away. Get out of here,” while trying to push the phone away. CM Punk then enters the frame and smacks the phone out of the fan’s hand.
The fan spoke to TMZ about the incident and stated that he wants an apology from CM Punk when he said, “I want an apology — shake my hand — I’m not gonna sue him or put him in jail. I just want an apology.”

CM Punk did appear on Monday Night Raw this week in segment with Cody Rhodes, and he teased a potential match with Cody when he looked at the Undisputed WWE Championship and said he’s going to stay ready, “Because you never know when a championship opportunity is going to fall out of the sky.” As Punk left Cody held up the belt and said, “Say when.”
