John Cena’s storied career came to an end back in December when he was defeated by Gunther in his retirement match. The 17 time champion has vowed to never wrestle again, but that doesn’t mean he’s done with the wrestling business altogether.
Today John Cena posted a video on social media and he officially announced that he will be returning to WWE as the host for WrestleMania 42.
“I’m shooting a movie for Netflix called One Attempt Remaining that you can see when it comes out. I’m also on the road, which is ironic because there’s a road to WrestleMania going on, and Hollywood is really close to Vegas. Rumor around this town is, WrestleMania needs a host. Well, I’m already on that road to I will see you at WrestleMania.”
Since retirement, my “road” has looked a little different… but now I can officially say I’m headed to WrestleMania!!!! See you in Las Vegas! pic.twitter.com/nyNypOhRpk
