The Royal Rumble is only two weeks away, but anticipation for the event is seemingly low this year as no one on the WWE roster has declared for either of the Royal Rumble matches. Despite the fact that no one has declared for the Royal Rumble it looks like we could potentially see a return at the event.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that LA Knight is scheduled for the Royal Rumble. It’s not clear if he will be returning ahead of the show to announce that he’s in the match, but the idea is that LA Knight will be competing in the Royal Rumble this year.
LA Knight was written off TV back in December when he was destroyed by The Vision. Bronson Reed hit Knight with a Tsunami on the roof of a car backstage, and Knight was stretchered out of the arena and put into an ambulance shortly after.
Over the last few years LA Knight has become one of the more popular wrestlers on the WWE roster, but there was some concern among fans that he was being buried due to the way he was written off TV. Recently it was reported that people within WWE were confused by the outrage as LA Knight getting destroyed by The Vision was said to have been a standard story beat which will be revisited at a later time.
