Monday Night Raw aired live from Perth, Australia this week and the show featured a huge main event as CM Punk, Jey Uso and LA Knight faced off in a triple threat match to determine who would become the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The main event match was action packed and featured several near falls, but ultimately it was CM Punk who picked up the win. Near the end of the match LA Knight connected with a BFT on Punk then threw Jey Uso to the outside. LA Knight went for the pin on Punk, but Jey broke it up when he pulled Knight out of the ring.
Jey Uso went to the top rope for a splash on Punk and Punk blocked it when he got his knees up. CM Punk then connected with the GTS on Jey Uso and pinned him to win the match.
After the match CM Punk’s celebration was interrupted by Seth Rollins who made his way out with The Vision. Bron Breakker speared Jey Uso then LA Knight. Rollins, Breakker, Reed and Heyman surrounded the ring then Reed and Breakker beat Punk down while Rollins looked on. Bronson Reed hit a tsunami on Punk and Seth Rollins held the belt in Punk’s face as he told him he’ll never be WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
As The Vision was celebrating Bron Breakker hit Seth Rollins with a spear out of nowhere. Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed looked absolutely stunned. The fans chanted “holy s***” then Breakker walked up to Bronson Reed and told him to make a choice. Bronson Reed then grabbed Rollins, dragged him across the ring and hit Rollins with the tsunami. Paul Heyman tried to call them off and Breakker got in Paul’s face.
Bron Breakker grabbed the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and Paul Heyman held up Breakker and Reed’s hands as the show went off the air.
