WWE officially kicked off their partnership with Netflix earlier this year when Monday Night Raw debuted on the streaming service back in January. A new reality TV series called WWE Unreal also premiered on Netflix back in July, and it looks like another season is on the way.
Fightful Select is reporting that a second season of WWE Unreal is now in the works. It was also noted that the director of season 1, Chris Weaver, was at SummerSlam filming Seth Rollins cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.
Filming for season 2 is currently underway and Seth Rollins is among the subjects featured in the show. WWE, Netflix and NFL films have started production on the second season which is expected to be released in 2026. Weaver has been at multiple events filming for the show, and the wheels are said to be in motion regarding what music will be used for the new season.
The first season of WWE Unreal focused on the Raw premiere on Netflix as well as the road to WrestleMania. The show featured some interesting footage and gave fans an inside look at WWE creative meetings and the inner workings of WWE. Season 1 culminated with WrestleMania 41, so it will be interesting to see what events season 2 ends up focusing on.
Stay tuned for updates.
