The Undertaker is considered by many to be one of the most intimidating wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. The Hall of Famer came off as a fearless character throughout his career, but it’s been rumored that the man behind the gimmick has an irrational fear of cucumbers.
Recently the rumored fear of cucumbers came up during an episode of his Six Feet Under podcast when a fan using the name dragonchaser said that a cucumber should have ended The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. Undertaker set the record straight when he clarified that he’s not afraid of cucumbers, he simply doesn’t like them.
“I’m getting a little fed up with the cucumber stuff, really. I may just slap the next person who says I’m scared of cucumbers. I’m not scared of cucumbers. I don’t like cucumbers. They taste awful. They smell horrible. They upset my stomach when I was a kid. That’s the only thing.
I don’t like cucumbers, I don’t like the smell of them. I ain’t scared of nothing. Why do you have to bring up cucumbers, dragonchaser? I’m gonna chase your a** down the street and beat you with a cucumber. How about that?”
