CM Punk has been out of action since January, but the former WWE Champion is involved in one of the most talked about feuds in wrestling right now. For months CM Punk has been making Drew McIntyre’s life miserable and he continued to do so on Saturday night when he ruined Drew’s Money in the Bank cash-in.
After watching CM Punk and Drew McIntyre taunt each other endlessly fans are certainly ready to see the two stars clash inside the ring and it sounds like the match could happen sooner than later.
Dave Meltzer shared an update on a potential CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre match on Wrestling Observer Radio and noted that the match is probable for SummerSlam. According to the report WWE is pretty confident that Punk vs. Drew will take place at SummerSlam next month. However, CM Punk still has to get cleared and it’s being said that as of right now the hope is the match will be part of the SummerSlam card, but it’s not 100%.
