Over the weekend Becky Lynch defended her WWE Women’s World Championship against Liv Morgan at the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event. After Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to win the belt The Man declared that she would be looking to use her rematch clause during Monday’s episode of Raw.
Ahead of Monday Night Raw this week Adam Pearce announced that the rematch would take place inside of a steel cage. Becky Lynch was once again defeated by Liv Morgan in a match that may have been the last match on her current WWE contract.
Fightful Select recently reported that Becky Lynch’s current deal is set to expire on June 1st, and she will become a free agent if a new deal is not signed. The report also noted that many in the industry expect Becky Lynch the biggest offer of anyone in women’s wrestling history.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE sources believe they will come to terms with Becky Lynch on a new deal. However, at this point in time nothing is set in stone until a deal is signed, so anything can happen.
