This week on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho teamed up with Kenny Omega to take on Angelo Parker & Daddy Magic, and it was Jericho & Omega who picked up the win.
After the match Don Callis made his way out and said that he knows this business won’t be finished inside a wrestling ring, so he challenged Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho to a street fight on Dynamite in two weeks.
Kenny Omega accepted the challenge and then said that he has a friend who is willing to step into battle with him. Omega followed up by announcing that Kota Ibushi will return to AEW to team with him and Jericho.
Don Callis laughed and told Jericho & Omega that they’re still outnumbered. Chris Jericho then got on the mic and teased that he has a friend who happens to be bigger than Will Hobbs. The former AEW World Champion said that his friend is a giant, and that’s when Paul Wight made his surprise return.
Paul Wight walked out onto the stage and immediately punched Kyle Fletcher in the head. Wight looked on at Jericho in the rink then winked at him as the segment came to an end.
