Roman Reigns has been pushed as the face of the WWE for years now and he’s really come into his own since he turned heel and started embracing The Tribal Chief persona. It seems that there are many fans out there who consider Roman to be their favorite at the moment, and it seems that Roman Reigns has a favorite wrestler of his own.
During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Natalya was asked to name her Mount Rushmore of Canadian wrestlers, and as she responded she acknowledged that Bret Hart is Roman Reigns’ favorite wrestler.
“First and foremost, Bret Hart. Bret is, to this day, he inspires the new generation. To inspire, you know, your favorites, that Bret was their favorite. It’s funny hearing Roman Reigns say it was, because you know, Roman grew up in a dynasty of wrestlers as well, with the Samoan dynasty. But I have heard Roman say so many times that Bret made him want to do this.”
Natalya also went on to reveal her favorite Bret Hart match when she added, “I would say my favorite Bret Hart match, I am so biased, I would say Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart. WrestleMania 10, Madison Square Garden, it was the greatest opener of all time.”
