WrestleMania season will be here before we know it and there’s a lot of talk about which matches could end up on the card next year. It’s no big secret that WWE is hoping to book Roman Reigns vs. The Rock for the show, but that matches is not confirmed at this point.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that if Dwayne Johnson is going to be on WrestleMania then he will be wrestling Roman Reigns. It’s being said that match is not off the board at all, but it’s also not a lock, so WWE has to put backup plans in place. Right now nothing is for certain when it comes to the WrestleMania main event.
Basically what it all comes down to is that The Rock has to make up his mind, and most likely WWE will want to have plans in place by the Royal Rumble so they can use the show to start building up the main event.
WrestleMania 39 will take place from SoFi Stadium on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. Stay tuned for more updates on the big event as they become available.
