Intergender matches aren’t something that WWE does often, but they do happy from time to time. Last year Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt were involved in a lengthy feud with Randy Orton, and Bliss ended up facing off against The Viper at the Fastlane pay-per-view.
Alexa Bliss got the win when The Fiend made his return and attacked Randy Orton which allowed Bliss to pick up the victory. During a recent interview with BT Sport the former Raw Women’s Champion opened up about what it was like to work with Randy Orton, and she noted that the Fastlane match might be one of her favorites.
“Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have a match with Randy Orton. Never in a million years. You know what, I have to say this might be one of my favorite matches I’ve ever done. This was cool. This was a super fun match. I feel like this has to be one of my favorites.”
At one point during their feud Randy Orton decided to surprise Alexa Bliss when he hit her with the RKO on Raw. Bliss reflected on taking the RKO when she added, “But I will tell you, taking an RKO is not fun, but it’s pretty cool to say you’ve taken an RKO.”
Alexa Bliss will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship on the January 2nd episode of Raw. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
