Many stars have come and gone from AEW over the last few years, but Dustin Rhodes has been there from the beginning. Rhodes has had a consistent presence in AEW and he’s faced a number of AEW wrestlers inside the ring, but it looks like his time in the ring could be coming to an end.
Recently the former Intercontinental Champion noted that time has caught up to him, and he seemingly teased retirement when he posted the following on Twitter:
“Man, old age has caught up to me guys. As much as I push myself beyond my limits, I can honestly say, I am doing some heavy thinking about the next step. We all think we can go forever with new batteries, but TIME comes for all of us. Kinda scared tbh. #KeepSteppin”

At 53 years old Dustin Rhodes has managed to have a much longer in-ring career than most, but only time will tell if he truly has reached the end of his run as an in-ring competitor.
