Riddle has been involved in a heated feud with Seth Rollins for weeks now and last month Riddle delivered a brutal beatdown to Riddle on Monday Night Raw. Following the attack it was announced by WWE that Riddle suffered a storyline injury and his match with Rollins was pulled from the SummerSlam premium live event.
Since then Riddle has been sitting on the sidelines, but it’s being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he will be returning to the ring to face Seth Rollins at the WWE live events in North Charleston, SC, and Fayetteville, NC this weekend.
Even though his match with Seth Rollins was pulled from SummerSlam, Riddle showed up anyway and called out Seth Rollins which led to a brawl that didn’t go well for Riddle.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the expectation is that Seth Rollins and Riddle will face off at Clash at the Castle on September 3. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
