On Friday the Wall Street Journal reported that Vince McMahon paid out $12 million to four different women over the course of the last 16 years to suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity. Despite all of the attention McMahon has been receiving due to the report he still showed up to this week’s SmackDown tapings.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that it was business as usual at SmackDown this week, and everyone, especially Vince McMahon, was acting like nothing happened.

After it was revealed a few weeks ago that Vince McMahon paid $3 million to a former WWE employee that he allegedly had an affair with he stepped down from his position as Chairman and CEO of WWE. Stephanie McMahon was then appointed interim Chairwoman and CEO of the company.
