On Sunday night the NXT TakeOver: In Your House pay-per-view aired live on Peacock and WWE Network, and tonight’s episode of NXT on USA Network will deal with the fallout from the show.
It looks like tonight’s show could be interesting to say the least, as PWInsider is reporting that former NXT Champion Samoa Joe is currently backstage.
It was recently reported that Triple H was not happy about Samoa Joe being released, and that he “snatched him back” as soon as possible. It’s believed that Joe is back with the NXT brand, and he’ll be working a non-wrestling role moving forward.
At the end of the NXT TakeOver: In Your House pay-per-view William Regal teased that it’s time for a change in NXT, and there’s speculation that Joe could be brought in as the new authority figure, but that’s not confirmed. Stay tuned for updates.
