Over the last few years the announce teams on Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown have been switched up on more than one occasion, but Michael Cole still has a constant presence on WWE programming.
According to Fightful Select, all of the changes that have taken place with the WWE commentary teams have made WWE talents realize how good Michael Cole can be.
Unfortunately Michael Cole made a mistake during the Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair match at WrestleMania 37 when he accidentally said that Banks kicked out, when Belair actually won the match.
The report notes that there was no heat on Cole for the botch, and that it was viewed as a “s**t happens” type of situation in regards to his mistake.
Michael Cole was said to have been open with multiple people about his mistake, but people were understanding, and no one made a big deal about it.
