They say that anything can happen when you watch a professional wrestling pay-per-view, and on Saturday night the stars of All Elite Wrestling stepped into the spotlight at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
Cody Rhodes put his TNT Championship on the line against Darby Allin, and in the end it was Darby who walked out with the gold.
Allin and Cody Rhodes have faced off several times in the past with Cody Rhodes coming out with the victory, but tonight Darby defeated Rhodes to win the TNT Title for the first time in his career.
After the match Cody kneeled and handed the title to Darby Allin, then raised Allin’s arm.
Team Taz then took out Cody and Darby before Will Hobbs made the save.
