Cody Rhodes is currently an Executive Vice President and top star for All Elite Wrestling, but he spent a number of years working as a WWE Superstar.
Throughout his run with WWE Cody Rhodes flirted with the main event scene, and he recently noted on Twitter that he was originally supposed to win the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2012.
Rhodes went on to say that plans changed, but the hardship helped shape him when he posted the following:
“2012 was the year I was winning it, and that changed hours before showtime. One of those “unanswered prayers” moments though.

In the end it was Dolph Ziggler who won the match, and he went in to cash in on Alberto Del Rio to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Cody also commented on the multi-man ladder match he competed in at WrestleMania 31, and he praised Daniel Bryan while calling the match special.
